If an evangelical Christian believes that the practice of his (or, less likely, her) religion requires breaching of the separation between church and state, isn't that a problem, especially if the person is being considered for a high public office?

I don't care what they worship, if they keep it on their territory. I don't like the idea of people - especially attorneys general - bringing religion to the office.
