how do MMs analyze order flow?? I've read many times about how market makers pay brokers for "order flow" information.

In what form is this information provided, and what
analytical tools do the MMs use to use it to their
advantage? I'd expect that they look at more than
the raw order book, and find changes in the buy/sell
balance somehow. What particular tools used
to process this data; can we get a look at them?

Can any of you insiders provide some insight??
