"but through checks he has found that problems are already evident in "weaker" analog companies including National Semiconductor Corp. (NSM), Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc. (FCS) and Intersil Holding Corp. (ISIL)." Checks with my sources (Yahoo, PRnewswire, CNBC) have also shown some problems in Fairchild's business. In fact, one insider (www.fairchild.com) revealed to me that this quarter will be on the light side, with further weakness extending into the next period as well.
