Unfortunately IB's link to INCA tends to be painfully slow as far as order acknowledgement and cancellation is concerned so it's of no use in the kinds of stocks you mentioned. Hitting INCA through REDI which theoretically should be slower due to the rerouting often is actually several orders of magnitude faster than going the direct route. I've heard statements from IB months ago that they were in the process of upgrading their INCA link to make it as fast as ISLD and REDI but so far they still haven't addressed the issue. Another example showing how contrary to their claims best execution for their customers is very far down on IB's priority list.
