While Russian shipments are the real question, an interesting point made by James Dines, who recommended PGMs and PDL/SWC over two years ago, was that one factor many are not considering is the fact that the Russians may not have as much palladium remaining as market observers think. In fact, some rumors have even floated that the Norislk (sp?) mine may actually be depleted within the year.

Obviously, it is impossible to verify any of this. But given the pathetic and decrepit state of that mine, anything could be true.
