Mr. Blonde, I must admit I would have been much better off staying out of the market since 1 April, but the market is cyclical and the M is often bad before you realize you are in a down trend. If it was so obvious the Mutual Fund managers wouldn't have had such a bad year either.

However, long term holders would have done just that for the most part unless fundamentals had changed but for many of us we just can't sit on the sidelines and watch, but are constantly tweaking. However, when one does hold fully invested, you never miss the bottom as your stocks are already there.
