e-bill, Bush is still holding out the olive branch. Its not his style to pick fights. In fact, the guy is throwing a private bash with ZZ Top right after the inaugeration. Scary, but I think he is far too decent a guy to fight the ugly fight in Washington. As for Tower, yea, that was a disgusting display of the politics of personal destruction. The Democrats have certainly honed their skills over the past decade or so. Chavez never even had a chance to be questioned by the Senate. Did you see how this whole thing unfolded? Her next door neighbor, a Democrat, is married to some lawyer connected to the Whitehouse. Talk about conspiracy to destroy. I want to see how they destroy Ashcroft. This whole thing about him being a Klansman came from some comment he once made about how the South had given up too much after the Civil War. -John
