I think the "multiple monitors" problem may depend on whether you are using Win98/2000's native multi-monitor capability or not.

I am using a Matrox G-450 with two Iiyama 22" ViewMasters. So far, Matrox has not come out with native multi-monitor support for Win 2000. (I beleive that they have, though, for 98?) They have their own kludged-up multi-mon support, that spreads your desktop across two monitors. They have some hacks that help you live with it. (You can have the Matrox software remember window positions and re-open applications in those positions, can have it force applications to open on a single screen, etc.)

I have no problems drawing trendlines on either monitor.
