I was fast asleep between copious amounts of goose down, just where I'll be tonight after ten PM EST. <gg> I am obviously missing all the fun, darn it! Seriously, I've been really impressed by how many conversations we've been able to have between right and left here. I started reading all four bazillion posts this morning and was inspired enough to think about opening the LWP. But then I read the rest. Eek, NFW.
I thought your posts about the rituals of Catholicism, and your recent ezperience with massage were a hoot, BTW. As a former Catholic, I've gotta say, some of those rituals look silly. Generally, though, I give great credence to them. This is a rough and cruel world. If people find oil, incense and palm fronds comforting and inspirational, I say it's a great idea. I know when I take communion, it's always an ocassion for introspection and humility. |
