Excellent post on Monkey Wards, Mike. Right after the 2nd WW The CEO of Monkey was sure there would be a depression, because there had been one after the 1st WW. This was one of the reasons Sears was able to pass them.

As you read this article on retailing, it points out again that the only thing you can count on in business it that it will change. We see, again and again, that the old companies have a hard time changing, and are replaced by new. The companies keep dying of old age.

It is the same with us. If we don't change, we die. I am back to work, and much healthier physically and mentally for it. I no longer set in my penthouse all day, checking the market, and worrying. I still dance as much, I just don't set around as much!

I am a much happier person now than I was 4 months ago, when I had a lot bigger portfolio.
