I think we are agreeing even if it is a contentious agreement. I said it was cheeper and easier to use chemo stents. I also said -- and i stand by it -- that they can't work s well as radiation. At the very least they will have candy wrapper effect. Taxol is no magic potion. Other chemo stents have not worked well. In the end, if it was my heart I want radiation. Radiation can be very cost effective but not the way it is being marketed. Novoste and others are marketing it for maximum cost. That may be the downfall. Hence in the end, as you say, there may be a future for chemo stents -- that is they may be better than non-chemo stents even if they are not better than radiation.
