I believe Bush will spend most of the time hiding out at his ranch. Evidently, he doesn't work for more than a couple days a week if that. Cat Lady sent me an article about Bush's inability to work. I should forward it to you.
On the other hand, Bill and Hillary have bought a large home in Georgetown. Hillary will be in the Senate, as you know, and Bill's going to be drumming up support for the Democratic Party and their agenda. (g) I think Bill Clinton may be more successful as a politician after he leaves office because he relishes politics, and he's been President for eight years.
I'm sure you've heard that Mr. Clinton has already said that he believes Mr. Gore won the campaign much to Bush's chagrin.
Bush, on the other hand, is lazy, ignorant and lacks ambition. And, he's a crybaby. Bush's advisors have complained, in public, that Mr. Clinton should be nice to Mr. Bush. If Mr. Bush cannot stand up to mild criticism, maybe he should give up his job b4 he's sworn in as President.
When Mr. Clinton became President, we didn't know very much about him, and it was difficult to find out much about him because of the vicious attacks by the Republicans and some of the Press such as NBC's John Chancellor. We no longer watch NBC news.
I want the Democrats to really sock it to Bush. If he can't take Clinton's criticism, he should get out now because this is only the beginning.. |
