Swedish telecommunications manufacturer Nokia today (1/12) announced the closure of a major deal with China’s Guandong Telecom.

Under the agreement, Nokia will supply 10 major cities in Guandong province with its D50e broadband access solution. Cities include Shenzen, Dongguan, Zhuhai, and Nanhai.

The Nokia D50e allows operators to make use of their existing network resources when upgrading to broadband, while providing selectable bandwidth to satisfy demand for high-speed Internet access. <<
