Hi:
I sent an e-mail to Steve Jobs at Pixar informing him that selling his shares is untimely and unkind to both the shareholders and his previous employees at Next and Apple who are also Apple shareholders and this may put their jobs on the line. I received a response from Apple and here it is:

Mr. Jobs has not sold his Apple shares. Reuters, in not understanding
the nature of the filing, issued an erroneous report. They made an
immediate correction clarifying that this was simply a registration of
Mr. Jobs' Apple shares, not any type of announcement that he'd sold his
shares or was selling his Apple shares.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. >

This should explain why there was no sell panic in the market today.
