Joey that may be. My point was that intel is not in position to dump p/mmx at lower than amd prices. K6, on another hand, is selling at premium of upto 50% which makes it more expensive than pII. From analysts remarks today I have calculated cost of k6 to be below $80/chip. That is extrimly profitable product. One analyst estimated thatif amd reaches 5M chips this year it would bring it to $6 EPS at assumed asp of $240 which is way below current k6 retail prices. Regards -Albert
