If Ashcroft were to infuse his religious beliefs into his work, then why didn't he agree with that judge about giving that criminal a new trial... after all, doesn't Ashcroft's Christian beliefs teach complete forgiveness... if Ashcroft were to allow his religious preferences to influence his work, he would forgive and pardon everyone... this is absurd..... I think opposing Ascroft on his religious beliefs is a very weak argument..... my religious beliefs are very different than Ashcroft's, but I don't feel threatened by Ashcroft's religious preferences..... so first, he's a racist... then, he's a religious fanatic..... listen, we need to be more tolerant about individual differences... I think he'll do a fine job.....
