Got around to looking at VARI's recent 10-K. And guess what? Their contract manufacturing business and vacuum technology business combined to overtake the scientific instrument business in sales.

And the contract manufacturing business is going to grow even faster through a recent acquisition. What this means is that VARI no longer meets this portfolio's requirements as a Trickle company. I have mentioned that I would lighten the postion in favor of other things. But now I state my intention to sell the whole thing when it claws over $35.

Thanks, Rick, for being among SI's eyes and ears at H&Q. I'm confident we'll all ultimately benefit from that.
