Fuel Cells...seem to have awakened form their slumber this week due to the California crisis...

HPOW made an awesome 25% move off the bottom yesterday and looks to have bottomed on the daily chart.http://home.earthlink.net/~sggd/HPOW.daily.jpg

The 65 minute charts shows a successful (rare <g>) breakout to the upside from a symmetrical triangle.

FCEL, still very volatile and stuck in a wide trading range...looks like it needs to consolidate or pull back a bit after this past weeks move. It did break through the
20 day EMA this week though.

Driving by a company near me today that I've driven by many times, I was very surprised to see a new sign out front which read Fuel Cell Energy. Used to say Energy Research Corporation and had always made me curious as to whether they were involved in fuel cell development. Surprise, surprise, it is THE Fuel Cell company, and they are headquartered about 2 miles away with a production facility upstate. Never read a word about them in the local paper... I thought they were out in CA.

Haven't looked at the other fuel cells, as I follow these 2. I am currently long HPOW.
