Gee, I never would have pegged you for an obsessive type:-) Our new black lab "Pepsi" is systematically destroying our house and property. Obediance classes started last week. I recommend "crate" training....it sounds weird, but it turns out that dogs like to have a "den", and a cage or appropriate crate works real well. We just got ours two days ago and she loves to hang out in it already.
