Joe are you still long SEVT? SEVT NEWS--
LONGVIEW, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 2001--Summit
Environmental Corporation Inc. (OTCBB:SEVT) announced today that
the company's Jet Engine Cleaner, Ultimate Clean 668(TM) has completed
the very difficult Non-Corrosion Laboratory Medallion testing protocol
established by the United States Military for jet engine cleaning on
all military aircraft. The certification also meets FAA requirement.
This test was mandated by the US-Department Of Defense, just after
Summit's Ultimate Clean 668(TM) had begun testing for the Military
Specification number. Ultimate Clean 668(TM) will meet the US-EPA's
new storm drain run-off requirements for water quality. The prevention
of ramp run-off drainage contamination will now allow the required
cleaning to take place at the gates during normal servicing rather
than off site clean-up required if no non-corrosive agents are
available for use. Currently, Ultimate Clean 668(TM) is the only
product that will satisfy this new testing protocol.
Ultimate Clean 668(TM) will be receiving the Military
specification number, MIL PRF 87402C for the type II and type III
cleaning. One certification is for a concentrate product and the other
for a ready to use product.
Long term storage quantities are now being prepared for the hold
back observation requirements. This occurs at different intervals over
time where products are inspected for shelf life stability.
As soon as the required samples are received, the proper
certifications will be forwarded in order for the actual on board
engine cleaning test to be completed. Once completed, Ultimate Clean
668(TM) will be added to the Quality Product Listing as an approved
product per the Military Specification Number.
The company and International Aero, Inc., the companies exclusive
distributor for Ultimate Clean 668(TM), expect to be ready to start
sales of the product by mid March. Airlines currently interested in
Ultimate Clean 668(TM) via International Aero are United, Delta, and
Northwest Airlines.
"This has been a tough process for the company. It is hard to
communicate what we have been through in accomplishing this feat. By
virtue of being the only, product approved under the standard will
speak volumes," says Keith Parker Summit CEO.
