Dogs are cave dwellers.. They love crates.. Mine will be in a crate by Monday night..They also don't crap in their crate ususally. You'll find after your dog is trained if you keep the crate, leave it open with a nice warm blanket (like sheepskin) Pepsi(sounds like you may be obsessive too..<gg> will sleep in that crate even when it isn't closed. As far as destruction goes Labs are "World Class Chewers.." but great dogs. many years ago I had a Newfoundland..If it wasn't so hot here in Florida thats what I would have gotten.. My Newf used to pull my sons around by the bottoms of their Dr. Denton PJ's.. Kids pretty excited about this dog.. We had to put our Golden to sleep when he started biting everyone last April.. Zachary(my 3 year old) was so excited he threw up.. BTw I like group dog training classes as it give the pups opportunity to socialize with other dogs.. So you drink how many? 10 Pepsis a day?..LOL We thought about a female but I already have 2 daughters..<gg>
