That was the only time I lost $$$ backing Buckpasser. I saw him win the Sapling at MTH and he became my horse. Must have cashed 10 tickets on him. Always chalky, but he always won. Amazing, since he probably never took a sound step after he was 3 (knees/ankles??). The '67 Woodward might have been his last race; or did he run once more?
