Woo hoo, my DSL is back up! Man, I was going thru withdrawal symptoms. =-}
Nice to see BMCS finally start moving up a bit. This thing is still cheap compared to where it will go. In spite of a weak economy, weak corporate earnings, and BMCS' own recent history of weakness, there are many positives. Declining interest rates, sold-off markets, and specifically for BMCS, upside guidance for 3rd quarter sends a signal that maybe they've touched the bottom and are turning this thing around.
Side note -- idn't it funny how on the way down, when BMCS would announce bad news, it could go down mostly by itself fairly independent of CA. Yet, when BMCS announces good news and rebounding mainframe strength, CA goes up with it? Talk about fair weather friends. =-} I know there was *some* similarity in the downward moves, but not to the same degree as the upward moves. Man, BMCS needs to learn that trick!
Good luck all,
John |
