I suggest you spend some dime traveling to the Far East and do some studying

Good idea!! Maybe I should start in China researching the Japanese rape of Nanking. After all, for the life of me I can't imagine where this propaganda about how the Japanese considered the Chinese to be "sub-human" could have originated. I sure this so called "rape" was really a love-fest with thousands of willing and friendly Chinese women participating so as to welcome their Japanese liberators.

And then maybe I could then travel to Korea and research the obviously fallacious accusations about Korean "comfort" women being forced into prostitution by the Japanese.

Then maybe we can research the long-held love that exists between Vietnamese and the Chinese. There was this rumour about this fighting a war some twenty years ago, but I'm sure this is just more western propaganda.

And then there is that little spat between brothers.. namely China and Taiwan. I'm sure China is accumulating all of those medium range missiles across the straits of Taiwan merely in preparation for the mother of all fireworks displays when they finally hug and love one another.

Personally, I think everyone is for Taiwan rejoining with China SOMEDAY since it might sound the final note in the cold war that has existed for decades between the Nationalists and the Communists.

But I certainly can't imagine permitting China to bully the Taiwanese into submission and reunification. That would set a bad precedent to dealing with their government officials in the future when they try to make additional claims on the Spratly Islands, or other parts of Asia.

I say let Taiwan reunify with China when THEY feel comfortable doing so, not when China desires. After all, it is China that has much to prove politically with regard to democratic reforms.

But I also consider women do have disadvantages in getting jobs or into colleges

Remember this the next time you're in a job competition with some cutsie female type. If it's a male supervisor, I would not feel confident.

Seen it happen over and over again.... with the usual hanky-panky that goes along with it.

Regards,

Ron
