That amount of sauce will easily baste 3 slabs of ribs. I have never tried freezing it but I guess it would freeze ok. You could always cut the recipe in half. It is our favorite but I also have a mustard type sauce Mr. GP made up. I'll have to get him to share it with us! <g>
