Steve, I seen your post over on the Atmel thread I thought I would check this one out. I think something should also be said that not all flash is the same. I'm not a techie by no means but I do know there is "Nor" and "Nand" type flash. I'm not sure which type flash Atmel sells (I would have to research) but I do know they do not compete with San Disk. Just something to keep in mind that in some cases you might be comparing apples to oranges. Mario
