Has anyone warned you that they turn into teenagers? Ha! The view is always different from the other side, isn't it? Yes, we have all been warned about the payback those of us that are young parents will face for once being teenagers ourselves. My son, at age 7, already eats more than I do on a daily basis. I'm not sure we'll be able to keep the house stocked with enough food once he gets to be a teenager. I'll need a good decade of gains in the stock market to foot the bill. No need to mention what my blonde 5 year old daughter will keep me up at night worrying about in about 8 - 12 years. As far as the discipline issues and teenage/parent relationships go - is there really any way to prepare for what we will face? I can feel my parents smiling now and rubbing their hands together in anticipation of payback.... BB
