asenna1, sometimes you have read between the form and function. But as you are not like me a little child who never grew up at heart you most likely don't know how to parse my page from what is beautiful and pointers to useful information. As an engineer who has been lucky enough to find himself in jobs that required authoring complex to simple system designs I've come across some things in life that at the core of their intent and being are simple and elegant. The purity of the simplicity of the design is artistically beautiful. I donot have the pallet to judge wine or the knowledge of painting to judge paintings. I do have the knowledge of several fields of engineering and thus I do judge and advocate what I find simply beautiful.

Engineering is about taking extremely complicated problems and breaking them down into smaller understandable problems. The most complex of problems in Engineering it turns out usually have to do with dealing with humans. Human's you see are ingenious at doing the stupid. I have succeeded in the past as an engineer as I am a guru of thinking stupid and thus my designs have been successful. But also during my career I always took the time to figure out while I did something how I could do it faster and quicker then next time around and thus have spent lot's of time studying how to access and organize information.

As I type this I have two displays that function as one. On each display I have ten desks and in each desk I could have 2 full size browser windows.
Well I have several browser windows open and several have dedicated functions. www.dictionary.com I can cut and paste words to check spelling. I'm just an OK speller. I suck as a typist. I also tend to think ahead of what I'm typing so sometimes I leave out part of a sentence.
When I reread my minds eye interpolates the words and I don't see the missing words. I wish I had a fix for that problem.
I also have one or two www.google.com windows open so I can quickly research some information. For example I remember tidbits of gospel stories and with google I can get 50 pages showing the exact gospel. I also have my own java script scientific calculator open.

In addition I have personal email and business email and system admin email and a few other email/browser windows. I also have some number of editors open on the two to four projects i work on when I not pinging vacant liberal minds. Along with this some number of Image editors as I play with 3D or whatever.

watman.com is the system I speaking of and to my left is watman.com
Theses are also know as trade.home.dhs.org and fvwm.home.dhs.org

For the road I have watman.com

Now the thing is that I can have 100 200 browser window open and dozens of other application open and my system has a 98% less than .5 second response time. That's the beauty of Linux my way. (FVWM)

What I have described is what is. Do I have and ego, yes, Is my ego in excess of my ability? That judgement of ego is like beauty and in the eyes of the beholder.

Now back to my Photo art.
Joyous abandon. watman.com

My satire art. defendal.home.dhs.org

My fun art. watman.com
This is truly cool with red blue glasses. By the way the skills I've developed to create anaglyphs in the last month is a direct result of the absurdity of the recount of dimpled chad. I figured that stereo pair photos of all the contested ballots should be taken so that all the world could see as I knew President Bush had the most real votes. I went through a system design and cost analysis and then decided to look into what software would be required. I found the anaglyphs so cool that I now go on a photo walkabout and take 60 pairs or so.
