From Zambia Post newspaper Monday 15th Jan 2001
And Mopani Copper Mines invested US$30 million into operations of Nkana and Mufulira mines, the corporation's chief executive Tom Dale said last Friday. Dale at a press briefing said the funds were made available by the MCM shareholders who include Glencore International AG and First Quantum Minerals including the government. He said he was confident that the copper production in the mining sector in Zambia would double and increase its contribution to the growth of the economy. He further disclosed that MCM was currently working on increasing its annual copper production from the current 70,000 metric tonnes to 200,000 tonnes in the next two years.

That is a big boost in production . It's 194 million lbs of copper net to First Quantum, about 5.4 lbs per share.
