I am currently being interviewed by a major Financial Magazine...a big boy<g>... one of the questions was.. HOW LONG DO YOU TYPICALLY HOLD AN INVESTMENT... i think thats been the whole problem with all of us..we don;t know when to SELL...buying is hard enough, but SELLING?? hmmm thats tough.. SO MY ANSWER WAS THIS....THINK OF A STOCK OR SECTOR AS A "FRUIT FLY"...THEY ARE BORN----THEY FLY----THEY MATE---THEY DIE....<G>...I TOLD THEM, IF WE COULD LEARN TO SELL AFTER THEY MATE WE'LL BE MILLIONARE'S.... AND THE SAME IS TRUE FOR SECTORS TOO...IF YOU FOLLOW POINT AND FIGURE, OR TERESA'S EXCELLENT LONGER TERM CALLS USING HER EXPERTISE IN CANDLE STICKS...YOU CAN PLAINLY BEGIN TO SEE OVERBOUGHT SECTORS AND STOCKS IN THOSE SECTORS THAT "HAVE TO BE SOLD"...YOU HAVE TO TAKE PROFITS IN YOUR LONG TERM PORTFOLIO'S..JUST DO IT 2-3 TIMES A YEAR..DO NOT SIT THERE WATCHING MAJOR PROFITS ERODE AWAY..BECAUSE YOU THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO GO UP FOREVER??? IT'S LIKE FALLING IN LOVE WITH A STOCK...IT COST ME BIG BUCKS LAST YEAR DOING THAT WITH KLIC...BAD NEWS, VERY BAD..OF COURSE THINGS ARE BETTER NOW..MUCH BETTER... SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS THIS...DUMP THOSE OVERBOUGHT FRUIT FLIES RIGHT AFTER THEY MATE...GOT THAT???..AFTER THEY MATE...THEY ALWAYS DROP "DEADER" THAN A DOORNAIL AFTER THAT EVENT...MAKES YOU WONDER HUH???..AND I AM NOT KIDDING HERE.. ALWAYS TRAIL UP YOUR "GTC STOP GAINS" EVEN IN YOUR LONG TERM PORTS...ALWAYS...YOU'LL FEEL BETTER AND SLEEP BETTER AND PROTECT YOUR PROFITS AND YOUR INVESTABLE CAPITAL.. MAKES SENSE NO? GOING OUT NOW...THE WIFEY CALLS... later Juice...
