I surprised that Buffett didn't buy into DoubleClick these past months. The stock was trading near cash value and Thomas Murphy, founder of Capital Cities, is on DoubleClick's board of directors. Murphy and Buffett are very close. Buffett financed Murphy's takeover of ABC in 1986.
