$3,000,000 / 55 people = $55k per person released. is that what a line employee make at swtx or is swtx exaggerating?

>>Southwall has not finalized its financial statements, including its costs, expenses and income, for the fourth quarter of 2000 or the year 2000. The Company intends to make an announcement with respect to those financial statements once they have been prepared. As previously reported, Southwall has experienced losses from operations and has significant current and long-term debt and, accordingly, believes that it will need additional financing to meet its operating cash requirements through 2001 and beyond.<<

sounds like another loss. if demand is down, no capexes s/b required, right? where's the money going?

>>The company expects to incur one-time expenses of $200,000 in the first quarter related to its restructuring. <<

swtx ought to include one time expenses as part of their earning. they have them every other quarter.

writing down managerial ignorance is a difficult process. it is long lasting when the root cause is not removed - and i don't believe it has. i recently worked at a company led by a couple morons... the reflection doesn't appear much different from swtx
