I was in the mining business when we managed Cochenour Willans, and a slew of other companies. We consolidated the shares 1:5 I think and renamed the company Wilanour Resources - in fact the name was my brainchild - for better or worse!!! We dewatered the mine, did a lot of drilling on various extensions - and of course the price of gold was soaring up over $800/oz - we ordered a winch - even built a camp site!! - the rest is a sorry tale. I'd left the group when it all fell apart and took my first really big market loss. So after all these many years it's good to see someone doing it properly - and naturally we hope for the same at Madsen with Placer.
