Thanks for all the replies, guys. I think I've got it figured out.

Saturn went into my first house in April 1999, meaning 2 years of profitability. Jupiter, however, went strongly retrograde last summer indicating a time of financial strife. It goes forward again this month with three outstanding months indicated.

Seriously, A couple of replies have touched on the central problem quite nicely. It's been a time for patience and avoidance the last year or so, and I am by nature a gambler and a thrill seeker. I LOVE the cut and thrust of the hot markets. Making money these days is all about discipline and dedication, which are not my strong suits.

So, adapt or die? I'll adapt.
