Here is a Data Mining company I forgot about: Angoss (ANC.V). This company trades on the old Vancouver stock exchange, now known as the Canadian Venture Exchange, an extensive small cap. market.

ANGOSS Reports Preliminary 2000 Results
TORONTO, CANADA--

Record Data Mining Revenues, Third Consecutive Year of Profitable Operations, Successful Launch of Solutions Business Set Stage for 2001

biz.yahoo.com

I found this most interesting:
Developer Tools
* Final beta delivery to Microsoft (R) Corporation of the ANGOSS Data Mining SDK for SQL Server 2000 developed by ANGOSS and planned for distribution by Microsoft during 2001

They also have an impressive customer list:
Fourth quarter revenues were derived from licensing, license renewal, and solution delivery agreements involving several current and new ANGOSS clients and partners, including Acxiom, AIG, Bell Canada, Burnett Direct, Chase Manhattan Bank, CUNA Mutual, Equifax, Equitable Insurance, Fingerhut, Firemen's Fund, First Union National Bank, Fleet Credit Card, Florida Light & Power, GE Capital Card Services, Glaxo Wellcome, GMAC, Goldman Sachs, Harte-Hanks, HBC Credit, Lexis Nexis, Microsoft, National City, NextCard, Pacific Bell, Pfizer, Pitney Bowes, Sears Roebuck, The Services Group, UNUM Provident, US Bancorp, Verizon Communications, VISA International, VoiceStream Wireless, Wachovia, and Washington Mutual. European and Asian wins included Ford Credit, Tetley, Pitagora, and Zurich Insurance.

Angoss has now been added to the BI Portfolio. It now becomes the fifth Canadian company on the list: (COGN or T.CSN; HUMC or T.HUM; T.DMC; SNDT; T.ANC)!
