Paul,

Thanks,

In fact I was looking on their web page at the spec of this product. Right now, I am using a PC (w2k Server that is doing some other things) with Proxy server software as an gateway to Internet for the other 2 PCs that we use at my house. A router will cut down the need for the second PC to be on most of the time.

Where does this router have a power supply / transformer? Does it have a fan?

Actually, the case that you mention has a power supply that I mentioned to Tench., because it is apparently very quiet.

How does the power supply work? Does it have a thermal probe, RPM sensor that are connected to the motherboard, or is all of the intelligence built in, and it operates without the intervention of the motherboard?

I have seen this power supply for $32. I am thinking about replacing my existing ones with this one.

After that, I will have to figure out what to do with the 2 fans on my overclocked dual Celeron that sound like jet engines on a Boeing 777.

Joe
