Being asked PCCW prc to bottom out, Li says do the best

(Infocast News) The share price of PCCW (0008) has plunged recently. Some minority shareholders asked Chairman Richard Li in the EGM when the share price will be bottom out while some claimed that they remain confident of the company and asked Li when to buy back shares again, Li replied that the managements of the company will do their utmost and has advised the shareholders to be careful when the price of the company shares goes up.

Li added that the share prices of Internet companies dropped by 70% to 80% on average for the moment and the decrease of PCCW's is less than those of other Internet companies. He claimed that the company has no ways to stop the market downtrend and that the value of the share price of the company is not allowed to be evaluated by the SFC.
