IT was before she was famous and long before she met the Kennedy's! There is a restaurant there called "Norma Jean's" and it's full of Marilyn Monroe trivia. My husband and I have a condo up at the North shore of Lake Tahoe near Frank Sinatra's old casino. Marilyn used to have a special cottage there that had tunnels from it right into the casino. That way they all could sneak in and out of her cottage! LOL It's called the CalNeva Casino cause it's half in Ca and ha;f in Nevada! Fun place!
