If the Nasdaq were above 4000 and Gemstar was valued north of 80 I believe the results (of Merlin's Gemstar poll) may have been different

Of course, I know that you know that the share price or Naz price has nothing to do with whether a gorilla is a gorilla. We should all make those decisions, or cast our votes, independent of stock performance.

And Brian, I agree that Gemstar is the gorilla of the VCR+ niche; but in truth, none of us is invested in it for that reason, but for its potential in T-commerce and T-page views. In those areas, it is not yet a proven gorilla.
