Leo da Lion Nomillini. All pro on both sides of the ball, but more noted for defense. Wrestled pros during the off season, and started Mama Nomillini's Spaghetti Co..He is in the Hall of Fame. Played during the Tittle etc daze.
I liked the Vikes cuz they had Joe Kapp...I be fond of Cal grads.Interestingly enuf, I watched a Niner/Vike game,and, at the end, the Vikes, in desperation, tried and failed the famous last second kick return 5 lateral play which Cal used to beat Stanford in the Big Game..
Kapp was Cal's coach, and I always wondered if that's when The Play was born.
