Saw my first Niner game in '57

My own "love affair" began in '60, but reprehensibly was a more long distance affair so I didn't have the privilege of seeing all my guys in person.

When I "grew up" (oxymoron?)

Ditto! More fun that way.

Saw Butkus and Staubach in college

Remember Tarkenton in a college game where the opposing team (my school) couldn't catch him - presaging his pro career. And then there was the Ray Guy college game. It was a night game and the lighting just was not designed for the height of Ray's kicks. The ball would disappear, the "recievers" would wander around - look at each other and shrug, then the ball would reappear but with an almost vertical trajectory strike the field an instant after regaining visibility. It was hilarious.
