Hi Steve - great idea for a thread imo. ISSI is missing from your list. You might consider changing it to a SI "watchlist" rather than a "portfolio" as the watchlist format shows daily change and volume as the default view & is therefore more useful imho. A portfolio shows daily $gain/loss based on number of shares entered. But really the WL format is just my personal preference. You may have to delete and re-enter to get watchlist format as I notice there is an option to change a watchlist to a portfolio but not vice-versa. NOR and NAND appear appropriate for a first cut at further category breakdown.... but I'm technically challenged:) This link may give some ideas for categories - but I haven't read it yet :) howstuffworks.com Agree on your ideas for the need for information on "types of flash each company makes, and their market share of both the entire flash market, and of the market for their particular specialization." That information is "out there" somewhere and I'll check through my semiconductor links & let you know if I find something useful. Might be an Excel spreadsheet project. figanin
