Do you have pre-determined stops when you enter a trade? I make a lot of different types of trades, with different time-frames, and even for longer term trades, it is important for me to go into a trade with my risk defined before-hand. I may have much larger stops for a longer term trade, but still those stops are in place. We must remove emotions and not become attached to the dogs! If we don't go about trading in a systematic and logical way, we will wind up second-guessing and winging our way to disaster.

Interesting that you feel removed from the pain of losing at the time. Denial is a powerful demon.
