I dont care how hard you cheerlead, this is going to be a scandal when people dig deeper.

The wording on FD says that execs cannot convey material information to analysts without divulging that same info to the public.

Intel now states that during the quiet period, they MAY or MAY NOT reitterate the public information to the analysts. If they DONT reitterate it, they aren't legally giving any new material information. But that absence of reitteration will be the secret code word for "look out, we have bad news but we cant legally say anything, so just consider my decision not to reitterate anything to be a warning"
