Cisco was in a tornado then - not now. I wouldn't be surprised to see the gorilla's/kings who hold dominate market control in tornado(ing) markets continue to gain market share in these markets(e.g. JDSU, NT, SEBL, NTAP) because recession hinders start-ups from jumping in during this critical market phase. I expect these companies to expand on their market shares during this time period. (note: of course their stock prices may continue to get hit and hit hard due to high PE's but they will come out like lions when this 'slow down' is over).

As for Cisco... they have no dominate market share in any tornado. How can they "gain market share" in the mid range router market when they already OWN this aging main street market? Will their market share go from 95% to 98% perhaps?
