Dib, Sounds like Scott suggested that going after optical or layer 4 and up are not his game plan. He suggested having partnerships with optical companies give them better visibility into new optical technologies. He also stated that although higher layers may be interesting he see's JNPR sticking to routing - what they do well. This is as I expected. Given this statement I wouldn't expect any significant visible acquisitions or a strategy to grow into new markets via acquisition - or for that matter even internal development. This should be troubling to investors considering that JNPR is trading at nearly 10 times the size of the entire router market. EDIT: BTW... CSCO looks strong in AH. Pushed through $39 again... OG
