Hi Robert - believe me, you are not alone [not sure it'd help though <g>!] You are right, one should be on the alert. I mean, even if NT were infallible, there would still be a lot of spin meisters with their own agenda. That said, JDSU, GLW, CSCO etc etc are all in the dump. So, the psychology is to choose the path of least resistance. Therefore, IMHO, contrary opinion is actually the prevailing opinion!
Personally, I see there are 2 challenges here. First, will NT as a business perform as expected? Second, will the spin meisters continue to impose their agenda in spite of the favourable result comes Thursday. Technically, the stk is weak. So, even if NT meets expectation, there is still a chance for the 2nd to happen. I want to prepare for that by holding my expectation in check.
