The main shareholders that opposed the consolidation were the group of Australians that are the moving force behind CVC today. They purchased 12.5 million shares at an average price of 20 cents. They voted against the motion because their goal was to throw James Stephenson out, not let him restructure the company for his own benefit. Now, they like the idea of consolidation because the private placement will allow them to buy a block of CVC at a significantly lower price.
