January effect is helping elot stock price. The overall revenue for gaming or lottery is huge, but it also points out that revenue can be shared only by grabbing market share and not by creating new customers. Cheapest way is still using 22 million or 35 million email customers names and get them to buy tickets online instead of going to stores. Otherwise, TV or print advertising will have to be used, to gain a foothold in the revenue projected. 1999 annual report shows lack of revenue in the new venture. This has to be remedied soon.
