Except that if stocks start to make highs that are above the last rally's high, or significant piercing of overhead resistance (like VECO closing above about $62, AMAT above $51, CYMI above $35, NVLS above about $48), this would indicate, at least from a technical point of view, that a new uptrend may start (never a guarantee in this area). Then, unfortunately, you wait to see how the stocks handle the retrenchment from the run, and if they hold above their recent lows, you feel a little safer getting in. The problem with that, of course, is that you miss a good portion of the initial thrust. Zeev
